For an international group specialized in commercial refrigeration and CO₂ systems, we are currently seeking a Country Technical Lead – Systems Engineering (M/F), based in Dumbéa, New Caledonia.

🇳🇨 Position based in New Caledonia – on-site presence required.
This role is intended for candidates already located in the territory or willing to relocate as part of an accompanied international mobility project.

🎯 Context

As part of its local development, our client is creating a strategic role of Country Technical Referent.
You will act as the sole technical systems reference in New Caledonia, working closely with Corporate teams and local departments (Sales, Service, Installation).

This is primarily an on-site position with a strong focus on coordination and technical leadership.

🛠️ Your Role

As the technical guarantor of systems deployed across the territory, you will ensure alignment between Group standards, local regulatory requirements, and operational constraints.

You will be involved from the quotation phase through project execution and final system compliance.

🔎 Your Responsibilities

As the key technical interface between the local entity and headquarters, you will oversee all systems engineering activities with autonomy and accountability.

Specifically, you will:

• Supervise technical aspects related to quotations and orders

• Provide expertise in system design and sizing

• Monitor project progress and ensure quality, deadlines, and compliance

• Prioritize developments based on business needs

• Implement Group standards and tools locally

• Identify technical resource needs with Corporate

• Support Sales, Installation, and Service teams on complex technical matters

• Ensure proper management of technical documentation and system certifications

Profil recherché

👤 Candidate Profile

You have solid experience in systems engineering within a demanding technical environment.
You are able to operate autonomously, structure local technical expertise, and connect operational challenges with Group standards.

A higher technical education degree (Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems, Industrial Systems, or equivalent) is expected.

In addition, you:

• Have 8 to 10+ years of experience in complex technical systems

• Have already led projects or coordinated teams in an industrial environment

• Master system architecture (design, commissioning, maintenance)

• Understand regulatory requirements and industry standards

• Have expertise or familiarity with CO₂ systems

• Are bilingual in French and English (mandatory)

✈️ Compensation & Mobility Package

Salary range: 672,000 to 781,000 XPF gross per month
(approximately €5,630 to €6,545 gross per month)

Relocation package includes:

• Airfare for employee, spouse, and children

• Shipping container for household goods

• Two weeks of accommodation upon arrival
